Palm Bay — Home May Be Closer Than You Think
Palm Bay has always interested me because it gives buyers something increasingly hard to find: choices.
You can find established neighborhoods, larger lots, scattered-lot construction, new-home communities, and homes at price points that can still feel attainable compared with some other areas of the Space Coast.
Current market data continues to show Palm Bay as one of the more affordable choices in our area. Recent July 2026 reporting put the median list price around $375,000, while other recent sales data showed many Palm Bay homes closing in the low-$300,000 range depending on the segment.
But price is only part of the story.
What I particularly like about Palm Bay is the amount of new construction available. Buyers can look at traditional builder communities, scattered lots, quick move-in homes, or even begin with a homesite and choose what they want to build.
And sometimes buyers are surprised to discover that a brand-new home may be closer to their budget than they expected.
That is why I think it is worth comparing—not just prices, but builders, incentives, homesites, floor plans, included features, and what each builder does differently.
After all, buying a new home is not simply about choosing four walls and a roof.
It is about finding the right combination of home, location, value and lifestyle.
And sometimes...
Home is closer than you think.
Coming Soon: Ronnie’s Builder Spotlight
Over the next several weeks, I’ll be visiting Palm Bay builders and taking a closer look at current pricing, incentives, homesites, available homes and what makes each builder different.
Watch for Ronnie’s Builder Spotlight on Facebook and Instagram.
And if new construction is on your mind, contact me before you visit the model home. I’ll help you compare the choices and understand what may be available before you make that first visit.
