They don't happen over contracts or closing documents.
They happen on front porches.
Growing up, I learned that a porch was more than part of a house. It was where neighbors became friends, stories were shared, children laughed, and the day slowed down long enough to remember what really mattered.
After more than forty years helping people buy and sell homes, I've discovered something.
People rarely remember the square footage.
They remember the feeling.
They remember where they celebrated birthdays, welcomed grandchildren, watched sunsets, or simply sat quietly with someone they loved.
That's what Front Porch Friday is about.
Each Friday, I'll share a story, a memory, a lesson, a glimpse into our Space Coast communities, or simply a thought about what makes a house become a home.
Sometimes we'll talk about real estate.
Sometimes we'll talk about life.
Because I've learned they aren't as different as they seem.
